1961 Press Photo Satellites-Transit 4B, the doubleheader rocket fired into orbit

A drum-shaped Transit 4B navigation satellite and a doorknob-shaped satellite names TRAAC (for transit research and altitude control) were put into orbit by the doubleheader rocket fired at Cape Canaveral, Fla.
