1973 Press Photo Wally Butts, former football coach of Georgia, died at 68

Former University of Georgia football coach Wally Butts died at his home in Athens, Ga. Monday. He was 68. Butts won one of the largest libel judgements in History following publication in March 1963 of a story charging Butts and Alabama coach Paul Bryant with rigging the 1962 Georgia-Alabama game.
