Walt Alston, manager of the World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers who has been named the National League "Manager of the Year," cleans off his shotgun after a day's hunting near his Darrtown, Ohio, home. Keeping his eye on his grandfather is two-year-old Robert Dean Ogle, who apparently has started young with a liking for firearms. Alston was voted the National League honor by members of the Baseball Writers' Assn. of America.
