Drawing illustrates the attitude control and propulsion path of the Pioneer/Jupiter satellite scheduled for launching from Cape Kennedy Sunday. Pioneer 10 is the first man made object intended to escape our solar system. It is intended to communicate with intelligent beings in outer space and carries scientific symbols designed to explain its mission.
