Little giant among quarterbacks-- Walter Eckersall, a 145-pounder in his playing days at Chicago from 1902 through 1906, back in a poll of football experts. He is shown above (left) wearing his varsity letter in 1905 and (right) as he appeared in 1929 shortly before his death.
