Henry Cabot Lodge, former U.S. Ambassador to South Vietnam, was named today as a special advisor to Pennsylvania Gov. William W. Scranton at the Republican National Convention which opens next week in San Francisco. Lodge and Scranton held their first face to face meeting in Harrisburg today to plan strategy for the governor's last minute drive for the GOP nomination.
