1964 Press Photo Maid of the Mist boat tour line ticket office trapped in ice

The ticket office of the Maid of the Mist boat tour line is trapped in heavy ice in the lower Niagara River. The ice damaged shoreline property and piled up in some places as high as 100 feet. In the background, the Rainbow Bridge spans the ice-choked river to connect Canada, at left, with the American shore.
