Dr Joseph Sirey, a National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientist, today discusses the flight of the nation's newest satellite at a news conference. At right is a model of the weather eye moonlet launched this morning from Cape Canaveral, Fla. The 21 1/2 pound sphere houses instruments capable of reporting the earth's cloud cover. In background are two other NASA scientists, John T Mengel and Dr Abe Silversein.
