George M. Humphrey, resigned as Secretary of Treasury, puts paper into a briefcase at his desk after the White House announcement that he is quitting his post. The most powerful man in the Eisenhower cabinet, Humphrey resigned after 4 years & 4 months of directing the nation's fiscal policies. Robert B. Anderson, became his successor.
