Columbia recording star, Carlos Santana, reunites with one of rock's legendary vocalists, Buddy Miles, in the new album by Santana, "Freedom." Santana and miles collaborated once before in 1972 on a live album called "Carlos Santana/Buddy Miles/Live," but this is their first studio teaming. Buddy Miles is lead vocalist on 7 tracks of the album including the debut single, "Veracruz." Miles is famous for his work with Jimi Hendrix, Electric Flag, and his solo efforts ("Them Changes"). Santana, of course, is one of the premiere bands of the last two decades with hit singles such as "Oye Como Va," "Black Magic Woman," "Dance Sister Dance," and many critically acclaimed international tours. The new album, "Freedom," featuring the debut single "Veracruz," will be in stores February 9.
