GERARD SCHWARTZ, the dynamic American-born conductor, makes his Texas debut with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, June 6 at 8:15 p.m. at the Round Top (Texas) Festival. Pianist James Dick, founder and Director of the Festival, will be soloist in Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini, Op. 43, and the program includes Copland's El Salon Mexico and Brahms' Symphony No.4 in E Minor, Op. 98. Chamber orchestra, solo recital and chamber music performance will presented weeks from June 5 through July 5, marking the 11th season of this internationally famous music festival.
