Sandy Gaberman, as shy Spinner who nevertheless looks for romance; and Mara Hobel as Sarah, are part of the ensemble cast appearing throughout the three-part "ABC Afterschool Specials" miniseries, "Summer Stories: The Mall," airing Thursdays on March 19, April 2 and April 16 (4:00-5:00 pm, ET, all dates) on the ABC Television Network. Filmed at the suburban Nanuet (NY) Mall, the miniseries tells the individual stories of teenaged friends who work in a mall and who must fave up to crucial choices that mark their first steps into adulthood. The miniseries is directed by Tony Award-winning actor John Rubinstein.
