Ira Steiner produces the unusual story, scripted by executive producer Roland Kibbee from the novel by Elmore Leonard. Get in a border town of the 1890s, "Valdez Is Coming" is filmed in Eastmancolor and widescreen on location in Almeria and Madrid.
