Red Sox catcher George Birdie Tebbetts, 35 and Miss Mary Hartmett, 27 of Burlington, Vt., secretary to the former governor of Vermont, after their engagement was announced by Miss Hartnett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hartnett of Burlington. The couple are shown during a luncheon at Boston's Hotel Kenmore where the Red Sox team stays when in town. No date for the wedding has been set.
