1961 Press Photo Frank Gaul looks through collections of the '35 football action

Fighting Irish of '35 are the subjects in the scrapbook collection of Frank (Speed) Gaul. When Notre Dame made gridiron history by rallying for three last quarter touchdowns to beat Ohio State 18-13 at Columbus November 2, 1935, Gaul was a quarterback for the Irish. Now he is an invalid at Veterans Hospital in suburb Brecksville.
