Radical Veteran-Chris Soares, a 25-year-old ex-Marine from New York, is one of the most vocal members of the Vietnam Veterans against the War. He is pictured speaking out for an immediate end to the war during a recent Detroit "iniquiry" by the organization, which claims over 5,000 members. Soares' souvenirs from the war include constant pain from a leg wound that permanently crippled him. But "I was patriotic and loved my country and still do," he says. And he emphasizes fighting the system from inside to make it change, not running off to Canada or Sweden.
