1967 Press Photo Steve Grady, Football Player, and Girlfriend Ride Bikes

The job of filling the shoes of star halfback O.J. Simpson of Southern California's No. 1-ranked football team has fallen upon Steve Grady, a senior playing his thrid year of variety ball. Grady, pictured riding across the SC campus with girl friend Maryanne French, took Simpson's place last Saturday when the latter suffered a sprained instep playing against Oregon. Simpson may be lost the rest of the season.
