Mrs. Roleta Willis Hall, of Norfolk, Virginia, christens the 240-foot cargo vessel her father's firm, C.G. Willis, Incorporated, Norfolk, will operate on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway between new Jersey and Florida. The barge was named the "J.R. Willis" in honor of Mr. Willis' father. the barge is designed for push or pull-towing. It can carry 3000 tons in its weathertight cargo space.
