Press Photo Ken Burns, Filmmaker Will Introduce New Series Thomas Jefferson

Filmmaker Ken Burns, whose multi-episode documentary series "The Civil War" and "Baseball" have brought record audiences to PBS, will introduce a new series of single-episode specials beginning with THOMAS JEFFERSON in the fall of 1996. all will air as "General Motors Mark of Excellence Presentations" with WETA, Washington DC, as the presenting station. Burns, above, on location at Jefferson's home in Monticello.
