Dressed in traditional chrysanthemum printed kimono and obi, one of Sea World's pearl diving Ama Girls poses beside a Koi or Carp Pond in the Japanese Village. Born in Japan, the Ama girls dive for pearl oysters at the bottom of a lighted fresh water lagoon. Visitors may purchase the pearls "as is" or have them placed in settings by the Village craftsmen.
