This is the four-cylinder Moskvich which Tass, the official Soviet news agency, says will be entered in the U.S. small car market. It was announced in Moscow that the government has given an exclusive franchise to Robert Castle, an American dealer, for distribution of 10,000 of the small cars in two years in the United States. Tass did not give the proposed U.S. price for the car. This is a 1959 photo, taken when the Moskvich competed in the Mille Miglia race at Brescia, Italy.
