1929 Press Photo "Buster," a Poland China boar, the biggest hog in America

Lawrence, Kansas -- "Buster," a pure breed Poland China boar which won the Grand Championship at the Ohio State Fair. The biggest hog in America, it measures seven and one half feet from snout to tail and tips the scales at a little over half a ton. Buster is the property of D.E. Cole of Missouri and is now entered in the Annual Kansas Free Fair here.
