1948 Press Photo Les Fleming, Indians, played outfield with first baseman's mitt

In this case the other party is the right party. Fleming never worse a first baseman's mitt in the outfield. It's illegal to do so. Only the first baseman and catcher can wear such a mitt. There were times, however, when it appeared that Fleming could have used one out there.
