1927 Press Photo Corner stone laying at the new Union Station - cva97382

Utmost simplicity attended the laying of the corner stone of the $60,000,000 new Union Station yesterday morning. The stone was laid by a stone mason. the only ceremony were the placing of the daily newspapers in a copper cask and saving them for posterity, beneath the stone.
