Hiram College President Elmer Jagow bestows the medal signifying fellowship in the Garfield Society upon Art Modell. The owner of the Cleveland Browns, Modell was inducted into the society on October 26 at Hiram. The Garfield Society was formed to recognized those outstanding individuals whose careers and public lives have demonstrated dedication to their communities, to the nation and to humanity. Membership in the society is the highest honor given by the College.
