A Navy F-4 Phantom appears ready to fly at the Navy Aviation Museum at the Pensacola, Florida Naval Air Station. The museum contains over 35 aircraft on display as well as art work tracing the history of Naval Aviation since the Navy bought its first plane in 1911. The F-4 was the Navy's main fighter aircraft during the Viet Nam War. Next to the F-4 is the Sky Streak, a 1945 test jet. The museum is free and open to the public. Aircraft are displayed both inside and around the museum.
