The five, seated left to right, Joe Curtis of Birmingham, Butch Lambert of Tupelo, Mississippi, Bob Aillet of Shreveport, Louisiana, Gordon Pettus of Alton, and Harvey Hardy of Lakeland, Florida, were in the city to prepare for the SEC Football Officials Clinic in the Magic City. Curtis is Chief of Linesmen; Lambert is Chief of Line Judges; Aillet is Chief of Referees; Pettus is Chief of Back Judges; and Hardy is Chief of Umpires.
