The Birmingham South Stars were in an awful fix two weeks ago when defenseman began disappearing at an awful rate. But Coach Gene Ubriaco moved winger Glen Hicks to defense and he's been there ever since. Although the move is similar to making a linebacker out of a running back in football, Hicks likes his new position. And the Stars have been winning more than losing.
