The gifts were presented on behalf of fellow employees by Commission President W.D. Kendrick, right. Lucius, who did not seek reelection, completed nearly 25 years of county service - first at Jefferson-Hillman Hospital, then as chief clerk to the County Commission and treasurer since May 1, 1959.
