More than 20,000 plants and shrubs will be on display along Birmingham Green Friday and Saturday during the Birmingham Green Plant and Shrubbery Show sponsored by the Downtown Action Committee in cooperation with the Alabama Nurserymen's Association and the Greater Birmingham Nurserymen's Association. Pete Tortorigi is president of the state association. Houseplants and shrubs will be on sale, and Jefferson County Extension Service horticulturists will give tips on plant care.
