Keith Kilgore, the University of Alabama Birmingham's first heart lung transplant patient, gets a haircut from barber Jay Lynn at University Hospital's Jefferson Towers. Lynn's wife, Darleen, oversees the trim. Kilgore marked his 29th birthday Tuesday with the haircut, a gift from the nurses in his hospital unit, hospital spokesman Hank Black said Kilgore has been moved from the cardiovascular intensive care unit since his operation earlier this month. Black said Kilgore's heart and lungs are functioning satisfactorily.
