1990 Press Photo Don Lewis, Trussville, cuts down tornado damaged tree, Alabama

Description
Don Lewis of 501 Rock Ridge Avenue in Trussville uses a chain saw to cut down a tree branch that was hanging perilously near his home Monday night. Two trees that were about 100 feet tall fell on his house during Saturday's tornado. He said two of his grandchildren were sleeping in a bedroom under the fallen trees but they weren't injured. He credited the strong construction of the 50-year-old house that kept the trees from falling completely through the house. (Trussville, Alabama) (Tornadoes)
