LeRoy J. Holt Senior's dog Chris may look like he's on special duty, but he's really just along for a ride to downtown Birmingham. Chris, an 11-year old peekapoo, helps his master patrol the Lakeview Hills area south of Cahaba Heights. Holt is a special deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
