1976 Press Photo Clinton H. Johns Named Man of the Year, Birmingham, Alabama

Birmingham, Alabama - Clinton Johns, recently retired Jefferson County extension agent, was named Man of the Year Tuesday by the Rural Affairs Committee of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. Johns started the Birmingham Agriculture Club, the Jefferson County Cattleman's Association and the Fat Calf Show each spring at the Alabama State Fairgrounds. The award goes each year to a Birmingham-area man who has made an outstanding contribution to agribusiness.
