Fob James, left, president of Diversified Products, Opelika, was named Marketing Man of the Year Thursday by the Birmingham chapter of the American Marketing Association. The Forbes McKay Marketing Firm of the Year Award went to Iron and Steel Credit Union. Sam Brown, right, accepted the award for the credit union. Second place for firm of the year went to First National Bank of Birmingham, and third place went to city Federal Savings and Loan, Birmingham Entries were judged by members of the AMA in Atlanta, Georgia.
