Description
Alabama - Officers C.H. Bailey and T.W. McDonald of the burglary detail look over part of a cache of stolen antiques recovered Tuesday in Gardendale. According to police, the more than $10,000 worth of antiques included such items as French clocks, valued at up to $3,000 each, candelabra and silver. A 46-year-old father and his 19-year-old son, Paul V. and Gregory Quick, were arrested and charged with buying and receiving stolen goods, said Captain W.E. Chilcoat. The Quicks live at 1641 Jaye Drive in Gardendale. Apparently, said Chilcoat, the stolen antiques were to be sold at flea markets.
