Birmingham, Alabama - Jimmy Yates holds his grandson Richard Franklin, 2, and hugs an unidentified daughter after another daughter, Marietta Franklin, was robbed and fatally shot at her Woodlawn apartment. The incident happened inside the apartment at 137C 58th Street North, Thursday about 1 p.m. Richard Franklin is the son of the victim, Marietta Franklin.
