Authorities have called off their search of a small waterfall and reservoir near Opelika where a psychic had said they would find the body of a woman who disappeared in 1974. The Lee County Sheriff's Department said 10 divers made a thorough search of the water Monday but found no trace of Ruth Dorsey, the missing woman. Psychic Dorothy Allison had provided authorities with a description of the area she claimed to have seen in a vision. She said the body would be found under running water near a cemetery. The sheriff's department located an area matching that description in Northeastern Lee County. But Monday's search of the area proved fruitless and authorities said they haven't decided if they will try again later.
