1980 Press Photo Skyways Pilots Celebrate First Arrival at Birmingham, Alabama

Birmingham, Alabama - Birmingham airline passengers have one more airline to choose from as of today. The first flight of Skyways Airlines arrived at Municipal Airport this morning from Memphis and among the passengers was the airline's president. A Skyways spokesman said the airline will offer two flights a day to Memphis. Heralding the airline's first arrival here were pilots Dave Donan (left) and Steve Stires.
