Steve Chambers, realtor. Steve Chambers, president, Chambers Realty, has been reelected to head the Homes for Living (HFL) organization locally. Chambers was instrumental in establishing the Central Alabama Homes for Living, the first real estate metroplex in the Birmingham Metropolitan area. Other officers include Verna McPherson, vice president; Bill Martin, secretary, and Jack Boggan, treasurer. The HFL sponsors numerous training and educational seminars, home shows, and community service programs.
