1988 Press Photo Firefighters in Second Story Apartment in Birmingham, Alabama

Firefighters found a burning pot of food on the stove inside this apartment at 2211 8th avenue north. After they put out the kitchen fire Friday. No one was inside the locked apartment when firefighters arrived. Damage to the kitchen was minor.
