Bureau honoree--Shelby County Sheriff C. P. (Red) Walker, pictured here outside the courthouse recently, was honored Friday night by the Shelby County Youth Aid Bureau. Walker had been a strong supporter of the bureau's work from the beginning according to its director, Larry Acton, so this aware was made to honor his contributions "to the bureau and, through the bureau, to the youth of Shelby County in the past four years." This was the first annual banquet for the bureau and the first award presented by it for such service. (Shelby County, Alabama)
