Birmingham Humane Society. Rescued animals with Russell Meadows and Ann Speakman. A Marshall County woman found living with her daughter inside a mobile home with a calf, four piglets, 15 dogs, 32 chickens, two ducks and two oppossums - has been arrested on animal cruelty charges, authorities say. The woman, Mrs. Betty Morton, 50, was booked over the weekend at the Marshall County jail on two charges of animal cruelty. She posted $500 bond on each charge and was released.
