Kathryn Tucker Windham, author, journalist, and lecturer from Selma, had a host of ghost stories for these students at James A. Davis Middle School in Bessemer. Mrs. Windham, whose 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey and other collections of ghost stories have charmed thousands of readers, was at Bessemer school Monday to visit with middle school language arts teachers in the morning and with students in the afternoon.
