With ice on the trunk and roof of her car and ice on the 22nd Street viaduct under her wheels, Sharon Joiner had trouble making it to work today. A company nurse for Liberty National Life Insurance Co., she finally decided to wait it out for better traction. She was among many area motorists who found rush hour traffic more treacherous than usual in Birmingham today.
