Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Libraries. The Vestavia Hills Library will be expanding its territory in the days and months ahead. The new $215,848-addition got off to an earthy start Wednesday morning with groundbreaking ceremonies. On hand for the occasion were Mrs. Sylvia Thomas, librarian and Lucian Hagedorn, chairman of the library board.
