Four more "pops" shook windows and scared residents of the Willow Bend subdivision in west Jefferson County Sunday night and probers placed the probable blame on an abandoned U.S. Steel mine. "I'm petrified," said Margaret Arnold, who lives in one of 100 homes in the subdivision and who monitored four small explosions between 11 p.m. Sunday and 1 this morning.
