Palmerdale, Alabama Fire Station. Construction on the Palmerdale Fire Station is underway, according to Bob Barton, chairman of the board which manages the all-volunteer fire department for the community. The new station, located at the intersection of North Valley Road and Miles Spring Road, will cost $43,835. The Jefferson County Commission is paying $20,000 of the construction cost.
