1955 Press Photo Papers and a mop placed in this garbage can, Arson Evidence

Strikes, Southern Bell Telephone Company. Papers and a mop placed in this garbage can were saturated then set afire in an attempt to burn down the home of a non-striking phone employee here early today. As shown by this photograph, the garbage can was placed against the home. A dog inside the house barked and awakened residents when the fire was set.
