1978 Press Photo Former Alabama Governor James E. Folsom Suffers Possible Stroke

Birmingham, Alabama - Former Alabama governor James E. (Big Jim) Folsom was transferred from a Cullman hospital to University Hospital in Birmingham Friday night for tests after he suffered a possible stroke. Folsom was listed in stable condition at University after he arrived about 6:30 p.m. Friday, accompanied by his son, Jack Folsom.
